Overview
We are looking for a competitive Insurance Agent to generate new business by contacting potential customers. You will sell, solicit, differentiate and negotiate insurance plans that match the needs of your assigned or prospective customers’ portfolio.
Responsibilities:
Client Acquisition:
Prospect and generate leads to identify potential clients.
Develop and implement strategies to attract new customers.
Sales and Policy Issuance:
Present and explain various insurance products to clients.
Customize insurance policies to meet individual needs.
Process applications and issue policies to clients.
Customer Education:
Educate clients about different types of insurance coverage and policy features.
Clarify terms, conditions, and exclusions to ensure clients have a clear understanding of their policies.
Policy Renewals:
Follow up with clients on policy renewals.
Evaluate changes in clients' circumstances and recommend adjustments to coverage as needed.
Claims Assistance:
Assist clients in filing insurance claims.
Work with claims adjusters to facilitate the claims process and ensure timely resolution.
Market Research:
Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and changes in insurance products.
Analyze competitors' offerings to stay competitive in the market.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
Address client inquiries, and concerns, and provide ongoing support.
Networking:
Attend networking events and community activities to build a professional network.
Utilize personal and professional connections to generate referrals.
Policy Reviews:
Conduct periodic policy reviews with clients to assess their changing needs.
Recommend adjustments or additional coverage based on life changes or external factors.
Compliance:
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
Stay up-to-date on licensing requirements and maintain necessary certifications.
Documentation and Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate and organized client records.
Document client interactions, transactions, and policy changes.
Sales Targets and Reporting:
Set and achieve sales targets and goals.
Provide regular reports on sales performance to supervisors or management.
Requirements:
HSC or equivalent
Insurance License
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build and maintain lasting client relationships.
Proactive, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
